And I’m Isabella Rossini. Before we get into things, we want to wish everyone watching a happy Juneteenth!

And we do mean everyone, because the holiday that celebrates the end of slavery in America should be celebrated by EVERYONE, not just those who would otherwise have been enslaved!

Well said! Okay, Alana, lets get this show on the road shall we. We’ve got your first look at the news right now and according to Tia Larose, who’s standing by in our Naked Newsroom, there’s a big story out of LA today.

What’s going on, Tia?

Believe it or not ladies, the NBA’s Los Angeles Lakers were just SOLD, and it’s their VALUATION that’s got everyone talking. Welcome to the Naked Newsroom, everyone. It’s hard to imagine the Lakers not being owned by the Buss family, who acquired the franchise in 1979 for 67.5 million dollars. But you can’t blame them for selling a majority stake when given a valuation of 10 BILLION dollars! The new majority owner will be businessman Mark Walter, with Jeanie Buss keeping a minority stake AND her governor seat. As for the Lakers, this valuation makes the franchise the most valuable one in the NBA… and within spitting distance of being the most valuable team in ALL of sports, which is currently the Dallas Cowboys, who are valued at 10 point ONE billion.

Sadly, that first story could make Jennifer Garner’s achievement sound less impressive – but her Once Upon a Farm organic baby food company is going to go public! They’ve filed for an initial public offering, with one source saying the company could be valued at a cool BILLION dollars! Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan are underwriting the deal and whatever happens, I think we can OFFICIALLY say that Jennifer Garner is more than just a pretty face!

And I don’t know if Elon Musk is looking over his shoulder, but Honda wants to move into the space business. They just successfully tested an experimental reusable rocket and it went off, without a hitch. Obviously, Japan’s second-biggest carmaker still has a long way to go, but they hope to achieve a suborbital launch in 2029. I bet Honda execs are kicking themselves that they already blew the name “Odyssey” on a minivan!
