French fans went CRAZY this weekend after Paris Saint-Germain won their first-ever Champions League title, beating Inter Milan. What began as peaceful celebrations on the streets of the French capital, quickly turned into chaos, with people setting fires and looting businesses. Nearly seven hundred people were arrested, and authorities had to use tear gas and water cannons to disperse crowds.

We’ve got more uncertainty for the global economy today as President Trump announced on Friday that he would be DOUBLING steel tariffs on June 4, from 25% to 50%. The EU has slammed the move, releasing a statement deriding the decision and saying that this will hike costs for both consumers and businesses on both continents. They also mentioned that if no “mutually acceptable solution” can be reached, the EU will implement countermeasures by July fourteenth.

And the trial of Sean “Diddy” Combs is entering its 4th week. His former personal assistant, Capricorn Clark, testified LAST week that she saw Combs assault his girlfriend Cassie, and say he wanted to kill rapper Kid Cudi, who also dated Cassie. Another former assistant, testifying as “Mia”, alleged Combs sexually assaulted her and physically assaulted Cassie. “Mia” is back on the stand this week, facing Diddy’s defense team. All told, Combs faces five criminal counts, and has pleaded not guilty to all of them.
