Hello, everyone. I’m Angel Banks! Welcome to Naked News on this Monday, July 7th. It’s going to be a tough day for anyone coming back from the July 4th long weekend, but we’re here to help get you through it. Let’s get to the headlines!

Elon Musk announced that he’s launching a NEW political party! It’ll be called the “America Party” and have a goal of unseating Republicans who supported Donald Trump’s so-called “big, beautiful bill”, which Musk claims will bankrupt America. In a post on X, Musk said one way his new party might work would be to “laser-focus on just two or three Senate seats and eight to ten House districts” to become the deciding vote on “contentious laws”. Trump responded by saying that Musk has, and I quote, “gone off the rails”, endquote. This sure oughta be interesting!

In other news, the Trump administration is set to warn trading partner countries that HAVEN’T made a trade deal yet to make one by WEDNESDAY… or face higher tariffs! About fifteen countries are expected to receive letters warning that any tariff hikes will take effect August first. And it’s not JUST major trading partners. Another hundred letters will be going to small countries with minor trade relationships. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent says the U.S. is already close to several deals, and expects more soon.

And if you drive a Nissan, listen up! Nearly half a million vehicles in the U.S. and Canada are being RECALLED over manufacturing defects! Specifically, BEARING failures that could cause the engine to lose power while driving! So yes, it’s a PHYSICAL recall. Dealers will need to inspect the engine’s oil pan for metal debris, and, if needed, repair or replace the the whole freakin’ engine – for free, of course. The issue affects certain Altima, Infiniti, and Rogue models, and you can check NHTSA.gov/recalls to see if your car is one of them!
