Hello, everyone, I’m Isabella Rossini!

And I’m Alana Blaire and THIS is the one and only NAKED NEWS! Thanks for joining us today.

And you picked a good day to be here because we’re debuting Emily’s very first Naked in The Streets!

You know, it’s not so easy speaking to random strangers on the street, with your top off.

That’s right, it can get a little dicey at times but overall people are pretty good about it.

Her first assignment was relatively easy though! We sent her to a nude beach, so she was in good company!

We’ll get to that a little later in the show, plus Eila will be showing us some, how would you say this, ALTERNATIVE meats for your grill this summer. As a meat-eater myself, I’m intrigued.

And as a NON-meat eater, I will enjoy Eila’s view. Now, speaking of food, Izzy, I’m pretty sure I know the answer to this question, but would you consider yourself a “clean” eater? Well, we all know, or SHOULD know by now that ultra-processed foods are terrible for our health!

Which makes the stats that the CDC just released about how much of these foods people are eating, that much more concerning.

Ladies, you may or may not agree with RFK Jr’s stance on vaccines but there’s no denying he’s spot-on about avoiding ultra-processed foods. And for good reason, they can cause all kinds of health problems, from depression to diabetes to heart attacks and more. And according to a new report by the CDC, Americans are consuming ultra-processed foods in concerning amounts. Check out THESE stats: roughly SIXTY-TWO percent of kids’ and teens’ daily calories come from ultra-processed foods. And its not much better for adults where that runs about fifty-three percent! The top source for both kids and adults was “sandwiches”, and in this case, that includes burgers and hot dogs!

In other news, Italy will soon be home to the world’s longest suspension bridge! Rome has officially signed off on the nearly-sixteen-BILLION dollar project that will connect Sicily and Calabria. The bridge will span two-point-oh-five miles… and will accommodate two railway lines down the middle, with three lanes for cars on either side! They hope to have it up and running sometime in 2033. Oh, and there’s THIS – it’s being built on one of the most earthquake-prone areas of the Mediterranean, so that should be interesting.

And a flight from L.A. to Hong Kong is a long one at the best of times… but passengers on a recent Cathay Pacific flight with that itinerary just experienced what was likely the LONGEST COMMERCIAL FLIGHT IN HISTORY! After traveling the thirteen hours to Hong Kong, a severe rainstorm kept the pilots from landing there and they eventually diverted towards Taipei in Taiwan. But instead of being allowed to disembark, they were held on the tarmac for ELEVEN HOURS! The plane then made its way safely BACK to Hong Kong, turning their 13 hour flight into a TWENTY-EIGHT HOUR AND TWENTY MINUTE nightmare!

And to that I say, OH MY GOD… I would have lost my mind. I hope they got some kind of compensation! I’ll be back in a flash with more headlines, so don’t go away.
