I’m Emily Pineda, and I’d like to welcome you to Naked News. Yoyo Wu is on the way and Tia will be going Naked at the Movies a little later. First up though, today we’ve got the headlines with Angel Banks and more on that viral Coldplay kiss-cam moment that’s everyone is talking about.

Thanks Emily! We told you about how the CEO of tech company Astronomer resigned after getting caught with his side piece on that Cold Play kiss cam. Well, the data company has a new interim CEO and he addressed the situation online! In a LinkedIn post title “Moving Forward at Astronomer”, Pete DeJoy described the spotlight the company was in as “unusual and surreal.” He also noted, quote, “while I would never have wished for it to happen like this, Astronomer is now a household name.” Well, he’s not wrong about that!

In other news, Harvard’s battle with the Trump administration has made it into a courtroom. In front of a U.S. District judge, both sides argued for a summary judgment. Harvard accused the government of violating the First Amendment by freezing its funds to exercise authority over its operations, while the Department of Justice continued to purport that it had something to do with fighting antisemitism. There’s no word yet on when the judge might rule, but Harvard is pushing for it to come no later than September.

And Trump Media and Technology Group – which owns Truth Social and has Trump as its largest investor – just announced that it has bought about two BILLION dollars worth of bitcoin! This comes as the company is reinventing itself as an investment firm, one that plans to sell ETFs, or Exchange traded funds. As Trump Media CEO Devin Nunes put it, the bitcoin treasury will, quote, “help protect us against discrimination by financial institutions.”

You would think being PRESIDENT would do that, but hey, we live in interesting times! I’ll be back shortly with more headlines so don’t go away.
