Okay, Isabella, have you ever ordered groceries to your house, or do you like actually going to the store? Well, getting fresh food, grocery store food delivered is about to get a WHOLE lot easier, now that the KING of home delivery is jumping in.

Emily Pineda is in the Naked Newsroom with the story.

And that King of home delivery is none other than Amazon! They’re jumping into the grocery game in a major way! The company just announced that customers in over a thousand U.S. cities can order fresh groceries through them, with free Same-Day Delivery on orders over twenty-five dollars. And that’ll expand to over TWENTY-THREE HUNDRED cities by the end of the year! Given the success Amazon has had selling perishable goods in markets like Phoenix and Orlando, this could literally change the market fast!

Tariff fears, a shaky job market, and continued high prices are taking a big bite out of the American restaurant business – in the first quarter of 2025, Americans ate a BILLION fewer meals at restaurants than they did the year before! And even restaurants like McDonald’s which are designed more for low-income customers are feeling the crunch. According to the fast-food giant’s CEO, visits from that demographic dropped by “double-digits” between April and June.

And once again, America’s national debt has crossed an unbelievable threshold – the thirty-seven-TRILLION-dollar-mark! In pre-pandemic projections, that number wasn’t supposed to be reached until 2030, but of course, there was a LOT of borrowing during the pandemic! For what it’s worth, that number won’t stay at thirty-seven trillion for long – the recently passed “BIG BEAUTIFUL BILL” in the U.S. is expected to add another FOUR TRILLION in debt over the next decade!
