And I’m Cecelia Sommer. Okay, Eila, you’re someone who likes to go where the fun is, but also has a good head on their shoulders, so tell me: what are some things you have to watch out for at a busy music festival?

Well, all good tips… but Emily’s standing by in the Naked Newsroom with something NEW we need to be aware of.

That’s right Eila, France’s nationwide music festival Fete de la Musique took place on Sunday and it sounded like a great time… but maybe not for the hundred and forty-five people who were stabbed with needles! And while nothing has been confirmed and the investigation is still ongoing, there’s concern that these could be cases of “needle spiking.” That’s when attackers use syringes to inject potential victims with date rape drugs! Reports indicate a dozen people were detained due to these attacks.

Pavel Durov, founder of the messaging app Telegram, is estimated to be worth nearly fourteen BILLION dollars… and someday, that estate is going to be divided into MANY pieces! In a recent interview, Durov said he’s fathered more than a hundred kids, and, quote, “They are all my children and will all have the same rights.” In case you’re wondering how he found the time, he noted he was the “official father” of six children, but more than a hundred have been conceived using sperm he donated!

And the world is about to see a wedding like no other this weekend. One of the world’s richest men, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, is getting married to his longtime girlfriend, helicopter pilot Lauren Sanchez, in Venice, Italy. Two hundred guests have been invited to the 3-day event, most of which are either A-list celebrities or business titans. There is apparently a 50 million dollar budget, with the bride & groom tying the knot on Bezos’ 500 million dollar yacht that will be moored close to the city’s edge. Not everyone is thrilled about it though. Locals have been protesting almost daily, telling the happy couple they’re not welcome. Even GREENPEACE has gotten involved.
