Well, we’re ALL very excited to have you back in the studio. Lets get things started with a question Erica, how obsessive are you about keeping your phone charged? Well, portable charges are in the news today because ANOTHER airline doesn’t want you using them on their flights.

Thanks, Ladies and a big welcome back to YOU Erica! The airline in question is Emirates. They’ve become the latest airline to put restrictions on the POWER BANKS people use to recharge their mobile devices! They’re already banned from checked baggage but as of October first, there will be serious restrictions on them for carry on bags. Not only that but they’ll need to meet specific criteria AND you won’t be able to use them on the flight. This comes after several incidents where the lithium battery overheated and even caught FIRE on planes. Several other airlines have already banned or restricted them… so expect MORE to follow!

In other news, the Highway Loss Data Institute has revealed America’s most frequently STOLEN vehicles, and the figures are mind-boggling! The Chevy Camaro ZL1, a high-performance version of the standard Camaro, has a theft rate THIRTY-NINE times higher than the average 2022-to-2024 vehicle! In SECOND spot, the Acura TLX 4WD was stolen TWENTY-ONE times more than average! And in third place, was the standard Camaro. As for the LEAST-stolen? That’d be the Tesla Model 3 4WD!

And YouTube has started rolling out its artificial-intelligence-assisted age verification functionality! Basically, the A.I. will analyze video searches, the account’s age, and other cues to “identify” whether a user is under eighteen. If the A.I. pegs someone as underage, they’ll automatically be subject to YouTube’s “age-appropriate experiences and protections”. That said, if you’re a grown-ass adult who’s just immature, you can get back to the grownup side by verifying your age with a credit card or government I.D.
