Of course that’s just a TASTE of what’s happening here at Naked News this week. For NOW THOUGH, it’s been a chaotic weekend in Los Angeles so lets get you updated with THE NEWS!

On Friday, demonstrators took to the streets to protest immigration raids in the city. In response, Donald Trump ordered two thousand National Guard troops to the city, which increased tensions even more. Cars were set on fire, and there were reports of Molotov cocktails and other violence. Authorities responded with tear gas, flash-bangs, and rubber bullets. Dozens of people have been arrested, and there’s no real end in sight. Let’s hope cooler heads prevail soon!

In other news, ABC News senior correspondent Terry Moran has been SUSPENDED after slamming Donald Trump and deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller on social media. In his post on X, Moran called the two, quote “world-class haters”, saying of Miller that “his hatreds are his spiritual nourishment”, while TRUMP’s “spiritual nourishment” was “his own glorification.” The post was later deleted but ABC soon announced his suspension, saying that “ABC News stands for objectivity and impartiality” and “does not condone subjective personal attacks”.

And the captain of a boat in New York has been charged after the vessel EXPLODED, forcing 23 passengers to swim for their lives. The boat was just off the coast of the Bronx when it burst into flames around nine P.M. on Saturday night. 19 passengers swam to a nearby island, and three others were pulled from the water by New York Fire Department marine units. Joshua Brito has been charged with reckless endangerment AND driving while intoxicated. That’s your first look at the news, don’t go away.
