Let’s get the show started with a question, Alana: When you’re buying a car, do you usually go new or used? Would you ever buy a used car from a RENTAL car company? Well, a new partnership between one of the U.S.’s biggest car rental companies and the world’s largest online RETAILER, is about to make it easier for people to nab a second hand car.

Tia’s got the details for us right now in the Naked Newsroom.

Ladies, Hertz is now selling its used cars on Amazon Autos! The new partnership lets people living within seventy-five miles of Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, and Seattle, to browse available vehicles, do the paperwork online, and then pick up their new ride at a Hertz location. Another forty-plus cities are expected to offer the option, soon! Hertz already sells hundreds of thousands of vehicles annually, and the move will make it easier for potential buyers to find the one they want.

In other news, the Trump administration is set to start screening people who apply to work or live in the U.S. for quote-unquote “anti-American views”! And that’ll include having their social media vetted! A U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services spokesperson said “America’s benefits should not be given to those who despise the country and promote anti-American ideologies”. But considering how subjective that is, the plan has drawn fire from immigration experts, who likened it to McCarthyism.

And in another move to cut down on illegal immigration from Mexico, the entire southern border wall is going to be painted BLACK! Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said the paint job was thought up by Donald Trump, who believes that it’ll make the wall hotter to the touch and thus even harder for people to climb. She said the ENTIRE southern border wall would be painted. It’s still under construction, with about a half-mile being erected daily.
