Its time once again for the one and only NAKED NEWS!! I’m Angel Banks!
And I’m Tia Larose, thanks for joining us today. Coming up we have another amazing feature from our Austria-based correspondent, Victoria Fairy.
That’s right and she also has a special announcement that I can guarantee will surprise you! PLUS, and I’m really looking forward to this, Eila is previewing the new Charlie Sheen documentary in Naked At The Movies.
That man has lived quite the life, hasn’t he? And in entertainment yesterday we reported that he slept with men while he was on crack!
AB: Crazy right, and I hear that’s just the tip of the iceburg so its a must watch for me!
Big ratings there for sure. Now before we get to Eila’s preview, we have Sarah Harlow standing by in our famous Naked Newsroom, with your first look at today’s headlines.
That includes a another controversial decision by the US Supreme Court. Over to you, Sarah.
That’s right Angel, the Supreme Court has made it official: ICE agents are BASICALLY allowed to be racist! On Monday, in a 6 to 3 ruling, the court overturned a federal judge’s order saying agents needed “reasonable suspicion” to stop and question people about their citizenship. That means ICE agents are now allowed to stop and detain people based solely on their race, language or job. The 3 liberal dissenters all said that the decision puts constitutional freedoms at risk.
In other news, the succession battle over Rupert Murdoch’s vast media empire has been settled. Under the deal, Rupert’s conservative-leaning son Lachlan will end up controlling the news group, including Fox News and The Wall St Journal. While three of Lachlan’s siblings will end up with no control over Fox and News Corp BUT will each get around one-point-one billion dollars!
And the hits just keep on coming for the Sinaloa drug cartel! The DEA says that over the course of a week in late August, it arrested OVER SIX HUNDRED people involved with the organization! In addition to the arrests, the “enforcement actions” across twenty-three domestic field divisions and seven foreign regions brought in over a thousand pounds of fentanyl powder, nearly five thousand pounds of meth, and roughly SIXTEEN THOUSAND pounds of cocaine!
I get that overall, this might be a drop in the bucket… but it sure feels like a pretty big drop! Don’t go away!
