Whatever they are, I love my Mercedes. I just wanted to put that out there! But first up today Angel, lets talk tariffs. Have they affected you at all? Well, believe it or not, after all this tariff uncertainty, they might actually be going away!
Or NOT! That’s going to be up to the US Supreme Court to decide. Frankie’s in the Naked Newsroom with the story.
Ladies, remember how we reported on Tuesday that yet another court has concluded that the bulk of Donald Trump’s tariffs are illegal? Well, that court’s ruling doesn’t take effect until October 14th… and Trump has already said he’ll be asking the Supreme Court for an “expedited ruling.” Trump’s getting pretty dramatic about the appeals court ruling, telling reporters at the White House, and I quote, “If you take away tariffs, we could end up being a third-world country.” Should be quite a show!
Meanwhile, the U.S. House Oversight Committee has released tens of thousands of pages from the Epstein files. As well as videos including body cam footage from police searches and victim interviews with their faces blurred out. That said, the consensus seems to be that this data dump mostly includes information that was already known. But I guess it’s a start… and we’ll see how it finishes!
And China has just flexed its muscles with its largest-ever military parade! As in, hundreds of advanced weapons, more than ten thousand troops, and a crowd of over fifty thousand spectators at Tiananmen Square! And for those who considered this to be Chinese president Xi Jinping showcasing a new world order, eyebrows might be raised over his most prominent guests: Kim Jong Un and Vladimir Putin!
I guess sometimes a parade isn’t JUST a parade! Don’t go away.
