Thanks, you two. Hooters entered into bankruptcy earlier this year, and now the seventy-three-year-old lawyer who’s trying to revive the franchise wants to make it more family-friendly. He plans to get rid of the bikini-style bottoms and just go with shorts. As he put it to the Wall Street Journal, quote, “I don’t think you’re going to see a bunch of butt cheeks hanging out.” Seems like a mistake for me… but I guess there’s something to be said for food that doesn’t taste like ass!
In other news, Caitlin Clark is a basketball star and an absolute media phenomenon, so it’s only right that she should have her own logo! And given that it comes to her courtesy of Nike, her logo will likely be a star in its own right! Her apparel collection is expected in early October, and her signature shoe will arrive sometime next year. In the meantime, if you want to email this logo to your friends, I recommend you CC it!
And the Mirage Hotel and Casino will soon be little more than a Vegas memory, but if you want to own a piece of it, you can! Over THREE HUNDRED pieces are heading to auction… and if anyone’s looking to get me something, I would love one of the bronze mermaid statues! Though I’ll understand if it doesn’t happen – after all, they weigh six hundred and fifty pounds and are expected to go for thirty to sixty thousand dollars each!
